USA Jet to give students a behind-the-scenes tour of Willow Run Airfield as well as provide first-hand information about aviation career opportunities

Belleville, MI – (August 18, 2022) – Ascent, a leading global logistics company, and its charter airline, USA JET, are joining Eastern Michigan University, STEM Flights and Crosswinds Aviation to provide 15 local Detroit metro students with an inside look at careers in aviation. The event is held today and features behind-the-scenes tours at Willow Run Airfield, including Packard Hangar and the air tower, a flight experience with a STEM Flights Pilot Mentor and individual presentations from various Ascent and USA Jet employees to help provide insight into aviation careers.

Students will hear from current aviation professionals about engine repair, flight following, lift optimization, piloting, mechanics and more.
