The challenge

A radiopharmaceutical company needed to move more than $2 million worth of specialized equipment from Italy to its U.S. production facility to launch a new line of cancer treatments. Packed into six large, shielded crates, the shipment included critical systems such as:

  • Hot formulation and dispensing cells
  • Lead shielding and inspection windows
  • Automated guillotine doors
  • VHP sterilization units, ventilation systems and electrical panels

This equipment was essential for maintaining cleanroom conditions and safely handling radioactive isotopes. Without it, the company could not meet regulatory requirements or begin producing therapies for cancer and other serious diseases. The solution
